It was quite a windy day,
But to work he made his way.
He was very deep in thought,
Dreaming of the change he sought.
As he came around the bend,
He heard the voice of a friend.
Shaken from his reverie,
A blast from the past was she.
After hugs and pleasantries,
Slowly he began to freeze.
As she looked him up and down,
It seemed her smile became a frown.
She had seen the clothes he wore,
Dress code from the coffee store.
Wishing he could disappear,
She asked: “Larry, you’re still here?”
