Christmas 2023 is just around the corner… and then another corner… then down the road a few blocks… Oh, who am I kidding? If you started walking now and kept going until Christmas, you could walk from Toronto to Vancouver and back. All the same, the 2023 Hallmark LEGO® Ornaments were revealed this week in the annual Dream Book. I’ve had a lot of trouble getting my hands on these ornaments for the last few years. Once in every mall, Hallmark stores are now few and far between in my neck of the woods. But I do love the LEGO® ornaments.
This year, the selection includes three LEGO® Minifigures. That is down one from 2021 and 2022, which were in turn down one from 2020. Additionally, this year’s selection includes another version of Harry Potter. Last year also saw the character gracing Christmas trees. However, if you’ve been collecting these over the years, the Gingerbread Man from 2020 finally gets his mate. The 2023 Hallmark LEGO® ornaments includes the Gingerbread Woman, Harry Potter playing Quidditch, and a Mandalorian-Grogu two-pack.
Similar to previous years, Hallmark will not release the ornaments all at once. The Gingerbread Woman comes out on July 15 and costs $21.99 CAD ($16.99 USD). Meanwhile, the Mandalorian and Harry Potter release on October 14, costing $31.99 CAD ($24.99 USD) and $23.99 CAD ($18.99 USD) respectively. I wouldn’t mind Mando and Grogu, but last year the one Hallmark store in driving distance from me didn’t carry any of the LEGO® characters. Hallmark Timmins has an online store. I found them googling for Lego ornaments last year. They had all of the 2022 ones. BB8 and Harry Potter are still available and on sale. I assume they will get the 2023 set. https://www.gifting-online.ca/search?q=lego&options%5Bprefix%5D=last

Order online?
For the last few years, the Canadian Hallmark has not had an online ordering option for ornaments. I have not checked if this year is different… Prices are high on eBay for ornaments I like.
