Fans of brick-built floral arrangements rejoice! The 2023 LEGO Botanicals sets were revealed today. The two new sets feature a dried centerpiece as well as a new bouquet. Both sets release in February, joining the Daffodils released on January 1. I’ve included the Daffodils below for good measure since they are part of the 2023 Botanical Collection lineup.

My thoughts…
I can’t say I have ever liked dry flowers. The muted, dead look has never appealed to me. Consequently, judging from the pictures, the Dried Flower Centerpiece is a hard pass for me. Some of the bricks look interesting for other projects though. I also appreciate how the set comes apart at the center, allowing you to create circular arrangements if you buy more than one of these (see image below).

Conversely, the Wild Flower Bouquet catches my eye. The colors really pop. And the NPU pirates hats? Amazing. Additionally, designers chose the colors to compliment the 2021 Flower Bouquet, making the sets perfect for display together. I still have the Flower Bouquet on the breakfast table, but I often wish my vase was fuller. With the Wild Flower Bouquet thrown in, it will be. What do you think of the 2023 LEGO Botanicals sets? Let me know in the comments below or reach out on social media.
Until next time,
-Tom

Totally agree, but would love to see the wild flowers used to bring colours to the center piece by swapping some of them.
Great idea!
