Pirates was my favorite LEGO® theme growing up. Consequently, a couple of Bargain Bricks episodes have already dealt with the theme. We look at Pirates Chess in episode one, and the Imperial Flagship in episode five. In Bargain Bricks: Episode 13, I’m back at it with Soldiers’ Fort (6242). Truth be told, El Dorado Fortress and Imperial Trading Post were dream sets of mine as a kid. I have yet to find either at a reasonable price on the secondary market. Soldiers’ Fort appears to be the 2010 Pirates equivalent of those classic sets. Consequently, I figured why not check it out if the price is okay? The opportunity came about on eBay, so I picked one up. Catch the episode below for more!
Until next time,
-Tom

Pirates theme is one of the best. I hope they release a new ship for the Imperials. The last one was huge and I still need to build the most recent Barracuda Bay.
Agreed! Enjoy Barracuda Bay, it’s my favorite set.
