January 2021 Ninjago Sets Announced

The LEGO Group recently announced the January 2021 Ninjago sets. The wave contains a large mech and a number of vehicles. However, there is no mention yet of the rumored Ninjago City Gardens set. Given the popularity of the original Ninjago City set, I would not be surprised if that set gets its own press release sometime soon. In the meantime, enjoy a look at the rest of the upcoming sets.

January 2021 Ninjago Overlord Dragon Minifigures

Interestingly, the rear packaging for each box indicates that this series comes with six special edition golden ninja Minifigures. However, these sets only reveal four, possibly five. The reason I say that is because there are two golden Lloyds. Additionally, the box for the Overlord Dragon set does not advertise that version of Lloyd as being one of the special edition characters. Finally, Nya is notably absent as a golden ninja in these images. Therefore, I suspect more set announcements are coming. That will probably include the rumored Ninjago City Gardens set. Otherwise, most of these sets come at a great value with loads of detailed Minifigures. What are your thoughts on the January 2021 Ninjago sets? Comment below or reach out on social media.

Until next time,

-Tom

  • I am very upset with the lack of Nya figs in the 2021 sets. I personally only buy the sets for Jay and Nya figures, so it’s pretty disappointing. I would’ve loved to see Nya in one of those cool outfits from the first few sets.
But other than that, these are amazing!! I’m so hyped!
    Happy Saturday!🤍
