Minifigure Monday: Poppy Starr

Minifigure Monday is a weekly celebration of LEGO® characters through art. This coming week is a special week. The LEGO® Group sent me a pre-release copy of the new Main Square (60271) set to review. It is the biggest City set released this year. Consequently, I decided to celebrate with a themed week: City Week! To kick things off, today we take a Minifigure Monday look at Poppy Starr.

Who is Poppy Starr? This celebrity Minifigure appears in the TV show LEGO® City Adventures. She also comes in two sets. Each set features a different variant of the character. The first iteration showed up in the summer 2020 Passenger Airplane (60262). However, the minifig in today’s post comes from the unreleased Main Square. That set is due September 1, 2020. The image above is your first sneak peak at this week’s set review. I will take an in depth look at Main Square on Wednesday. Additionally, to kick off City Week, I produced a Poppy Starr coloring page for your personal enjoyment! Make sure to tune in throughout the week for more City content.

Until next time,

-Tom
