After the first round of June 2023 promotions, we’re now onto a second wave. The new June 2023 LEGO® offers include two GWPs as well as a few new interesting items in the VIP Reward center. However, don’t get your hopes too high. The GWPs are nothing new. One is rehash, and the other is readily available on liquidation at other retailers. Personally, I think the VIP rewards offers are more interesting.

The GWPs
Firstly, Houses of the World 2 is back from June 20-28, 2023. This is the second in a series of four sets. I reviewed Houses of the World 1 and it left me majorly unimpressed. I know a lot of other fans were in the same boat, no thanks to the astronomical price point for getting one. This round of the Houses of the World 2 is no different. You have to spend $330 CAD at the LEGO® Store to get one and the set has a $24.99 CAD value. While I have wish list items that would qualify me, I am going to pass on this one. I have no doubt a desirable GWP will surface later this year, and I want to make sure I don’t have to force a purchase to get it or miss out.

The second GWP comes with City, Disney Princess, DOTS, Friends, or Harry Potter purchases over $90 CAD. The offer is valid between June 20 and 28, 2023. Dots is a discontinued theme at this point. You can find this same set on liquidation at Amazon. However, it’s always nice to get something free if you’ve got other qualifying purchases in mind. $90 is not a bad price point for free bricks.

New in the VIP Rewards Center
It has been a while since I last checked the VIP rewards center on the official LEGO® website. However, there are loads of rewards to pick from right now. Additionally, one of them is free. It doesn’t cost you any VIP points. You can currently redeem up to three of the blue VIP keychains (normally reserved for new sign-ups) right now for zero points. Of course, you have to buy something else in order to get the keychain in the end. Redeeming earns you a code. As always, you enter the code when paying for an actual purchase. The free keychain ships with your purchase. I also tested out redeeming three. You get three separate codes, meaning you have to make three separate purchases within 60 days in order to get all three keychains.

Other new items (at least they were new for me) included some LEGO® branded beach gear. You can get a 6L cooler (25cm x 17cm x 17cm) for 3500 points, a flying disc for 2000 points, or a bucket hat for 2850 points. Additionally, the Bricktober 2022 Space Adventure Ride I reported on earlier is available for 2400 points, while a small Friends Beach Cleanup set comes for 500 points.
