Minifigure Monday – Robin Hood

Oo-de-lally, oo-de-lally, golly what a day! It’s Minifigure Monday – Robin Hood edition. The LEGO® Group recently sent me a brand new box of the upcoming Disney 100 collectible Minifigures series. I’ve got a feel guide in the works, it will come out in time for the series’ release on May 1. However, in the meantime, I thought I’d share little tidbits as I progress through the series, starting with today’s Minifigure Monday entry! My favorite character from the upcoming series has to be Robin Hood, so he gets this coveted teaser spot.

Minifigure Monday - Robin Hood

Robin Hood features all new printing and a unique head mold. The hat and head are one piece, which makes it a little hard to determine what you are feeling through the foil blind bag. However, Robin also includes the typical bushy tail seen on other characters like the fox, raccoon, and wolf costumes from series past. Consequently, if you know what those feel like, Robin Hood’s tail will greatly help you to identify the character. With that said, the easiest item to look for is Robin’s bow and arrow. Those really adept at feeling blind bags can look for the feather that attaches to Robin’s hat as well.

I picked this character because I loved Disney’s Robin Hood as a kid. I had the movie on VHS, and my sisters and I watched it countless times. I remember laughing so hard at so many scenes from the movie, especially Lady Kluck’s football scene. Does Robin Hood make your list of favorite Minifigures? What characters are you looking forward to from the Disney 100 series? Let me know in the comments below or reach out on social media.

Until next time,
