After a two year hiatus, the LEGO® Fairground collection makes a triumphant return. The last ride for amusement park enthusiasts came in 2020 with the Haunted House. Today, the Loop Coaster (10303) was revealed. This is the second roller coaster in the collection. The first was 10261 from 2018. However, Loop Coaster ups the ante by adding not one, but two loops and an elevator to reach the staggering 92 cm high peak!

Loop Coaster Set Specifics:
- SET #: 10303
- THEME: Icons – Fairground Collection
- COST: $499.99 CAD
- BRICK COUNT: 3756
- MINIFIGURES: 11
- RELEASE DATE: July 1, 2022
- COST/BRICK: $0.13 (good value)
- BRICKS/FIG: 341 (low fig count)

Loop Coaster comes with 368 fewer bricks than its predecessor, set 10261. However, the price tag is $20 more. Interestingly, the cost/brick does not change that much though. It is a bit higher than the Fairground average ($0.10/brick), but still not bad. On the other hand, the minifig count is no so great. But even that is not out of line for the Fairground collection. The theme averages 332 bricks/fig in my experience. All the same, I would welcome a few more Minifigures.

I recently dismantled my theme park collection… There simply isn’t enough room for everything on display. However, I am excited by this set. While I tend to find the Fairground collection mechanisms very finicky, I still want to build this one. I will probably have to pick one up just in case I ever want to rebuild my theme park… it would be a shame to not have the entire collection. What do you think? Are you excited that the Loop Coaster (10303) was revealed? Let us know in the comments below or reach out on social media.
Until next time,
-Tom

Whoa. Makes me wish I had the other rides. Can’t wait to see it in store.
It will be impressive for sure.
