Bargain Bricks: Episode 7 – Lost Tomb

I am back with Bargain Bricks: Episode 7! This week, I share the acquisition of Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb (7621) from 2008. This set came hidden in the 30 lbs of bricks I mentioned in Episode 3. So far, the bin yielded the Sith Nightspeeder, Imperial Flagship, and Z-95 Headhunter. The giveaway for the Lost Tomb was the wall panel elements featuring hieroglyphs. At first, I thought I had an Adventurers set. However, a sticker featuring C-3P0 and R2-D2 from Star Wars soon set me straight. One of the movie sets for Raiders of the Lost Ark included an Easter egg of the droids that did not make the actual film. However, LEGO® designers included it in Lost Tomb.

Ultimately, my set was 86% complete straight out of the bin. I ordered 38 pieces from Bricklink to complete the kit. Despite that, I still got the set lower than the original retail price. While I do not know the original Canadian price definitively, it was $19.99 in the United States. For the purposes of this episode, I assume than means $24.99 CAD. Find out what I paid in the episode below! Do you have Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb? Let us know in the comments below or reach out on social media.

Until next time,

-Tom
