LEGO® Masters Season 2 Officially Announced

Earlier today, Endemol Shine North America announced that LEGO® Masters Season 2 is coming to FOX in 2021. Incidentally, Endemol Shine is the production company behind the hit TV series. It shares those honors with Tuesday’s Child and Plan B Entertainment, under a license from the LEGO® Group. Additionally, the press release reveals Will Arnett is returning to host the season.

For those unfamiliar with the show, teams consisting of two contestants each are pitted against each other in a new LEGO® build challenge each week. You can read all about season one in True North Bricks’ complete coverage and contestant interviews from earlier in 2020. With the first season being such a hit, it is not surprising the series was renewed. By the end of the first season, LEGO® Masters was the #1 new reality series of the year, and the top new entertainment program among adults.

Interestingly, the press release makes no mention of who the judges will be for season two. Therefore, it is uncertain if the familiar faces of Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard will return. However, Endemol Shine announced that “Season Two will feature even more talented contestants and even bigger LEGO® challenges than ever before.” I don’t know about you, but I really enjoyed season one. The official announcement of LEGO® Masters season 2 gives me something to look forward to in the spring. What are your thoughts? Are there any challenges you are hoping to see? Comment below or reach out on social media.

Until next time,

-Tom
