Top 10 Biggest City Sets

The first LEGO® City sets came out in 2005. It was the successor to the popular Town theme launched in 1978. City depicts Minifigures in real life scenarios. For that reason, the theme is popular with both children and adults. These sets and Minifigures help populate growing LEGO® cities around the world. The 2020 sets are adding to that legacy in a big way. September 1, 2020 marks the release of Main Square (60271). Incidentally, it is one of the biggest LEGO® City sets ever produced. To celebrate the new set, True North Bricks is looking at the top 10 biggest City sets ever.

There you have it; the top 10 biggest City sets of all time. You will note that many of the sets have a high cost-per-brick. I compared the values to my average across all LEGO® themes ($0.14/brick). However, if we examine only the City theme, then my average is currently $0.17/brick. Incidentally, this was the second entry in City Week at True North Bricks. Check back tomorrow for a review of the upcoming Main Square set! What are your thoughts on these sets? How many do you own? Feel free to comment below or reach out on social media.

Until next time,

-Tom
