Wandering This Mortal Plane (Minifigure Monday)

Minifigure Monday is a weekly celebration of LEGO® characters through art. My recent review of the Haunted House (10273) inspired this week’s post. Consequently, Wandering This Mortal Plane explores the concept of lost souls. Additionally, rather than write a simple rhyme, I opted for a specific form of poetry this week. It has been a while since I last wrote a Kyrielle. Click here for more Minifigure Monday rhymes.

Wandering This Mortal Plane

An original Minifigure inspired poem from True North Bricks.

Searching, I know not what for,
But feeling I’ve been here before,
Like tethered by a ball and chain,
While wandering this mortal plane.

Memory like a fading ember,
Purpose I do not remember,
I’m left with naught but phantom pain,
While wandering this mortal plane.

Ignored and left to wonder why,
By everyone who passes by,
My pleas for help are all in vain,
While wandering this mortal plane.

Searching, I know not what for,
While wandering this mortal plane.
