Vengeance (Minifigure Monday)

Minifigure Monday is a weekly celebration of LEGO® Minifigures through art. This week, we explore the concept of vengeance. I was inspired to write this poem not through personal experience, but through pop culture and Ninjago. I recently acquired the Gamer’s Market set (71708). It comes with a rather awesome Avatar Harumi. The outfit worn by this Minifigure looks very much like the outfit worn by Uma Thurman in Kill Bill. Since I really enjoyed both Kill Bill films, I decided to LEGO-fy the poster from the first film using the body from the Harumi Minifigure. This is actually the second time I have LEGO-fied a Kill Bill poster (click here to see the first).  Without further ado, here is Vengeance (Minifigure Monday).

Vengeance (Minifigure Monday)

I trusted you were on my side,
I trusted that we were allied.
You lead me down your plotted track,
You deftly stabbed me in the back.
Alone you left me here to die,
Alone I’m left to wonder why.
The rage did not let me expire,
The rage, it only fueled the fire.
Remember now as you grow old,
Remember vengeance is served cold.
