I have not been posting much these last few days because I decided to take a little break and focus on what started this whole blogging adventure in the first place: building LEGO. I have been hard at work on my latest MOC, the Corner Deli (31050, you can read my review of the original set by clicking here). But, I couldn’t miss Minifigure Monday! Today’s Minifigure is…

Woo Hoo! My first review for Minifigures Series 16! And, it is none other than Banana Guy, one of my most anticipated Minifigs for this series. These costumed characters are great. I have to admit, I don’t like this one quite as much a Hot Dog Guy from Series 13, but Banana Guy is still fun and will find a place in my LEGO city. It is worth mentioning that I am a little biased towards hotdogs though…

This Minifigure is all about the banana costume, which is awesome. It is a really nice, new piece. When you remove the costume, you have a Minifig who sports shades, a plain green t-shirt, and plain blue pants. I am happy they gave him a t-shirt, and not just a long sleeve. There is no double sided face. The Minifigure itself would not get much in terms of points from me, maybe a pass. But, I really like the costume… I’ll give him 7/10.

Until next time,

I wish we didn’t have to wait quite so long to get this series here in Australia….waiting, waiting.
It took a while for them to arrive in Canada too.. about a month longer than their first appearance in the states…
