Many Canadian AFOLs know the Brick Chick, a.k.a. Jenn. She runs a Canadian Bricklink shop as well as SortLUG, an online LEGO® User Group. Jenn also recently launched her own website where she sells custom printed bricks and LEGO®-inspired apparel. I caught up with Jenn at Bricks in the Six 2024. We chatted about her future endeavours and all things LEGO®. She also gifted me some of her Timbrix and other goodies.

I had two items on display at Bricks in the Six, my Viking Knarr (displayed on its own) and my modular Tim Hortons (part of ParLUGment’s display in the train room). The items I got from the Brick Chick’s booth in the vendors’ room really add a nice touch to the latter. I can’t wait to display the Timmies MOC again with these items in it. For now, I’ve taken a few photos to share here on the blog.

I love Canada-specific prints, but the Brick Chick has loads of other items too!

The items I got from Jenn include Timbrix boxes, Timmies coffee cups, an “I Love Canada” mug, Coke cans, and Canadian money. Each is exquisitely detailed and all are recreated with some LEGO® Easter eggs. For example, the Loonie features the original wooden duck produced by the LEGO® Group. Each of the bills showcases the Minifigure form of the person depicted on the real currency, as well as the holographic strip. Everything comes printed on authentic LEGO® bricks. If you are building your own Canadian LEGO® city, these are a must.

How many custom printed, Canadian-themed Brick Chick items can you spot?

The Brick Chick offers a lot of custom items printed on real LEGO® bricks to add some flare to your LEGO® builds. Be sure to check out the Brick Chick’s website to see what she’s got. I have plans to update my MOC Tim Hortons a bit. A few more Brick Chick products will help spruce the place up!

Until next time,

-Tom

  1. Another Canadian AFOL has a shop on ETSY. I bought items from him in the past that are high-quality and durable. Def worth a look, with new hats for minifigs that are timely… check out Million Prints Designs.

  2. Thanks Tom. Finally, CAN$ bills for my minifigs. They can stop using fake 100 bills. TimBrix is classic.

    1. Glad to help get the word out. The Canadian money is just awesome.
