The Formula 1 Exhibition has been captivating visitors at the Lighthouse ArtSpace in Toronto since May 3rd. This travelling show features interactive, audio visual and museum-style exhibits that showcase the world and history of Formula One racing. LEGO® joins the F1 exhibition starting July 24, 2024 and running through September 15, 2024.

This marks the second public display of the LEGO® McLaren F1 Race Car. Earlier this year, the 174,783 brick model appeared at the Montreal Grande Prix. Oddly enough, I live in Montreal and I had no idea. For those who missed it (like me), or fans living in the Toronto area, now is your chance to see it. Ticket prices vary based on date and time. However, a quick look online suggests they range from $30-$50 CAD for adults.

In addition to seeing the car, the LEGO® portion of the experience also includes a make-and-take activity. You can build your own mini F1 car out of LEGO® bricks that includes a special commemorative tile (while supplies last). Additionally, the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre has three brick-built F1 inspired helmets on display with the car.

Until next time,

One response to “LEGO® Joins F1 Exhibition in Toronto”

  1. If you are an F1 noob or a fan, this exhibition is definitely worthwhile – and if you are a Lego fan too, then this addition makes this a no-brainer. It is interactive and more comprehensive than I expected – running from history, to personalities, to technology, from danger to safety, and throughout – the competitiveness and the excitement for drivers and fans. There are a range of ticket prices from average to more expensive, with the difference being the amount of flexibility you get for arriving at this timed entry event. The souvenir prices are outrageous, even for F1 which is notoriously expensive.
