Let me begin by telling you that this article was originally going to be called “Sean Kenney’s Animal Super Powers returns to Greater Montreal”. The ads for this traveling LEGO® exhibition started popping up on my feeds recently and I got all excited because they advertised the show in LaSalle. In my excitement, I did not read carefully enough and assumed they meant LaSalle, Quebec in the Greater Montreal area. That would make an easy and fun outing for me. As I started writing this article, I soon realized the show is not in LaSalle, Quebec. It is in Lasalle, Ontario… eight and a half hours away. It is actually closer to Detroit, Michigan than any major Canadian city. But, since this is a Canadian blog with readers all around the country, I decided to post about the show anyway.

Sean Kenney’s Animal Super Powers made a stop in Montreal back in 2021. I stopped by, and it was worth the trip (click here to read about my experience). The latest stop for the exhibit in LaSalle is about 25 minutes from Detroit, 20 minutes from Windsor, three and half hours from Toronto, and two hours from London. The show opened on January 25 and runs through April 6, 2024. Operating hours include Thursday and Friday evening from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, as well as Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Special hours apply around holidays, and you can get full details on the town of LaSalle website. Tickets are $13 plus taxes.

Like I said before, I really enjoyed the show when I saw it in 2021. So, if you live in the area or are planning to visit, it is well worth the stop. Are there any LEGO® events happening in your area? Let me know so that I can help spread the word around the Canadian community 🙂
Until next time,
-Tom

Since I couldn’t comment on the other post, I’ll do it here. For all of us living in the central part of Canada there is not one single event happening close to us. There is not one single event in either Calgary or Edmonton. It is either Toronto, the west coast or east coast. This personally isn’t right. There are almost 5 million people living in the province of Alberta alone, so what gives? We never seem to get any of these events and it’s dumb.
There are events happening later in your area later in the year, I just have not had time to put them up yet. Fear not, LEGO fun is heading your way too!
