The late October 2023 GWPs were recently revealed on the official LEGO® website. I am sure the new Disney offer will excite many fans. Additionally, if you’ve been collecting the Houses of the World promos, the final one just arrived. Personally, I am not a fan of the Houses of the World. I reviewed the first one, and found the price point outrageously high for what you get. I maintain that LEGO® should offer these for at least $100 CAD less… but I digress. Here’s a quick look at the late October 2023 GWPs.

Houses of the World 4
- SET #: 40599
- THEME: Houses of the World
- VALUE: $24.99 CAD
- BRICK COUNT: 318
- MINIFIGURES: None
- RELEASE DATE: October 23, 2023

Just to reiterate the ridiculous price point of the Houses of the World Series, take a close look at the Steamboat Willie set for comparison. Mini Steamboat Willie has more bricks, a Minifigure, and a higher value than Houses of the World 4. However, you still have to spend $190 CAD more in order to qualify for the Houses of the World set. It makes no sense. The Houses of the World Series are nice looking buildings. But I have boycotted them simply because of the price point. The houses simply are not worth it in my opinion. What do you think? Let me know in the comments or reach out on social media.
Until next time,
-Tom

Yeah, I boycotted them too. They’ve got to have some of the most disproportionately high thresholds in recent years.
Here’s hoping things change in the new year…
