It has been over a year since it entered development, but the Viking Village is now hitting store shelves. Additionally, the Christmas season is gearing up. Last month, we saw the Advent Calendars. While I am certainly getting the Viking Village, and I am contemplating the Alpine Lodge, I am not sure I will buy either this month. As we all know, Bricktober is on at Toys R Us. The GWPs are not as good as they were last year, but the sales tend to be worthwhile. In the first week, one of my favorite themes (Jurassic World) has already gone on sale. I might stock up on discount sets this month and keep larger purchases for holiday season Insiders double points events and GWPs at the LEGO® Store.
