Eiffel Tower Day 5 (Build Journal)

Eiffel Tower Day 5 (Build Journal)

I continued with the third instruction manual during Eiffel Tower, Day 5. During the process, I completed bags 52 through 65 of the set. Once again, I found myself building support struts and cross-supports. However, there was also a small platform that mixed things up a little. I built a little less in this round, only around two and a half hours. The monotony of those cross-supports is getting to be a bit much if I am totally honest. The total build time sits at about 15 and a half hours now. Check out the speed build below!

After Eiffel Tower, Day 5, I have completed about three quarters of the Eiffel Tower in terms of height. Only nine bags remain, so the finish line is in sight. Already, I can honestly say that the build for this set has not been my favorite. It is long and repetitive. However, the structure itself is beautiful and worthy of display. There’s only one build journal entry left if all goes to plan, so be sure to check back soon. Additionally, you can catch up on previous build journal entries using the links below. Let me know what you think in the comments below or reach out on social media.

Until next time,

-Tom
