The next wave of LEGO® Super Mario sets will be coming out in January 2023. This exciting new wave includes a new series of Super Mario Character Packs and five expansion sets, as well as a new creativity toolbox. Interestingly, most of the sets are focused on Mario except for one that is focused on Princess Peach. In contrast, many of the 2022 sets starred Luigi. Unlike last year’s sets, there is a lot of variety in this wave. You can expand your Super Mario course with icy adventures, fiery hot lava, and even a hot air balloon ride over a garden. The downside is that these sets tend to have a higher price per piece than some other themes. Additionally, the Super Mario Character Packs have increased another dollar. If you are a fan of the Super Mario sets then this wave is sure to be a hit. Additionally, if you are a fan of creating MOCs then this wave also has some fun elements in different colours. I have certainly picked up a few Super Mario sets since the theme was introduced. This time, I am most intrigued by the Creativity Toolbox Maker Set and Peach’s Garden Balloon Ride. However, I also like the two icy/snowy sets. There are so many fun sets in this wave! Which sets from this wave are you most excited about?
