LEGO® Bricktales is out! You might recall, the first news of the game came out in March. Subsequently, True North Bricks received a pre-release demo in May. I quite enjoyed the game. While I only played the first two levels, they were amazingly detailed and immersive brickscapes. Additionally, I found the experience very inspirational in terms of designing physical, brick-built environments. I’m excited that the game is out, and you can get it on PS5, PS4, XBOX Series X|S, XBOX One, Nintendo Switch, and PC today.

LEGO® Bricktales sees you journeying across 5 beautiful LEGO themed biomes, taking you to the green foliage of the deepest jungles, the scorching sand of sun-drenched deserts, the hustle and bustle of a city corner, the epic sight of a towering medieval castle and the paradise of tropical Caribbean islands. An intuitive new brick-by-brick building mechanic will help you solve the many fun puzzles you encounter on this adventure and bring your solutions to life.
Along with the news of the game’s release, we also got some new images in the press kit. In them, we see two new levels and build challenges. I find the stills do not capture the detail of the environments. On top of that, what you see in the level shots is only a small corner of each environment. I have not purchased a video game in a long time, but I will get this one. It’s a fun little adventure with brain-teasing LEGO® building challenges along the way.
