The Office (21336) Revealed

Well folks, after quite a few tries, it’s finally happening! The Office (21336) had an official reveal today on The LEGO® Group’s website and social channels. After a very clever bit of teaser marketing featuring a Jell-O encased brick separator, we have full info and photos of this latest Ideas set. The Office reveal is hot on the heels of the recent Third 2021 Review results as well which sees another media property make it into brick form. The Office (21336) is the winning entry from the First 2021 Review announced in October 2021. And approximately one year later it will hit shelves on October 1st, 2022. A Long Time Coming

The Office (21336) has had a hell of a time getting to shelves. It has had multiple submissions to the Ideas platform all of which made the requisite 10,000 votes. And sadly each time was a bust. *womp womp*. But thanks to those persevering designers, the day has finally arrived. Now….full disclosure, I have only seen a few episodes of the show. So I can’t put in my customary puns and quotes. If you’re craving that, then please see my review of Seinfeld (21328). This set actually makes me want to finally watch it in its entirety though, so job well done.

In this set you will build the main work floor, meeting room and Michael’s office. It’s also packed with the usual easter eggs and callbacks that are a staple of the show. You know what else it’s packed with? MINIFIGURES! 15 minifigs are insanely amazing and a total treat. They really went for it and fans of the show are no doubt over the moon. And they’re pretty well done, every character is easily recognizable. Kudos to the designer and the graphics team! The build itself is a simple and practical footprint, one that will make a fun display.

Buy-It-Now!

And there we have it friends, the long wanted Office set is on the way. It’s rare to get a pre-order for an Ideas set too. And given how many friends I have that have already hit “BUY”, it’s safe to say this will be a big hit. Are you in that camp? Are you excited for this set? Were you a big fan of the show? What other TV show would you want to see? Let’s keep those NBC shows coming….Parks & Rec anyone??? Drop us some comments and let us know. Thanks for reading and as always, keep on brickin’. 🧱
