Hot on the heels of LEGO® Con 2022, Minifigures Series 23 was revealed! If you checked out our LEGO® Con coverage, you know designers were on board to to reveal three characters from the upcoming collection. However, within hours of LEGO® Con ending, the official site for the event published a photo of the complete series 23. Interestingly, the product page on LEGO.com still only shows the teased characters and not the whole collection. However, we can still glean the other characters’ names from the product page.
The full character listing includes:

- Sugar Fairy
- Green Dragon Costume
- Snowman
- Reindeer Costume
- Holiday Elf
- Turkey Costume
- Cardboard Robot
- Popcorn Costume
- Wolf Costume
- Ferry Captain
- Knight of the Yellow Castle
The characters release on September 1, 2022 and will retail for $4.99 CAD each. There is a definite seasonal vibe here, but also a lot of reused ideas. We have seen the elf and dragon before in different colors. Additionally, the wolf is essentially a recolored fox or raccoon costume… The mask is a new mold, but the idea looks very similar. However, I am thrilled with the Knight of the Yellow Castle. She goes extremely well with the Troubadour from series 22. He had the same knights logo on his golden coins. The Popcorn Costume in this new lineup is amazing too. Despite some unoriginal concepts, I will collect them all for sure. What do you think of Series 23? Hard to keep up with all the minifigures. I was pretty good up till about Series 10 but lost a bit of interest when they inserted that chase figure.
I’m not so keen on the chase figurines either… Every series has at least a few characters I want… but some are better than others.
