I am super excited about the upcoming releases in the Friends line-up! I really like where the Friends theme has been going the past few years with the addition of many new colours to the once pink-dominant colour palette. The first set, Vacation Beach House, is a great example of the new varied colour palette and retails for $99.99 in Canada. The other four sets hitting shelves in March also have some nice splashes of colour. Interestingly, these four sets all focus on pets with a retail value ranging from $13.99 to $89.99 CAD. These new March 2022 Friends sets join a number of other recently revealed sets in the Speed Champions (one of my favourites), City, and Creator 3-in-1 themes.

LEGO® Friends sets have always been great for accessories and cute animals, and these sets are no exception. The change in the colour palette also makes the newest sets even more appealing. Highlights for this wave include the new Scottish Terrier, the addition of puppies, an increasing number of male-coded mini-dolls and a male-coded micro-doll, and a greater variety of skin tones! Despite these great features, it’s hard to compare these sets to the amazing first wave of Friends sets revealed last month. Regardless, this wave offers some great options if you like animals and the Vacation Beach House is pretty fantastic. What do you think of these latest Friends sets?
