Disney fans get ready for more magical fun. The Mini Disney Castle (40478) celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Florida. This is a micro-scale build of Cinderella’s Castle at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. It’s an instantly recognizable image and represents all things Disney.

“Oh Boy!”

The Mini Disney Castle is a lovely design with a great price point. It’s a small set but at only $0.07 per piece, it has an amazing value. More importantly, it’s a charming build and makes for a great display piece. The pearlized gold and opalescent blue parts look fantastic as well. I’m sure many a MOC maker will love to get their hands on these. A new Mickey Mouse minifigure is also included. In this case, we get a vintage Mickey in his snazzy formal jacket, red bowtie and even some nice dual molded legs. This is a great companion (or affordable alternative) to the very popular and long in production The Disney Castle (71040). That set released in 2016 and is still going strong. Happily it won’t retire until the end of 2022 so you have quite some time to add it to the collection.

This one is sure to be a big hit and sell out fast. If you’re looking to grab this, I wouldn’t delay – get on that computer at midnight! But what do you guys think? Does this make your purchase list?
