Hot off the presses this morning, the LEGO® Group unveiled the summer 2021 Harry Potter sets. The wave includes eight new Wizarding World sets. Additionally, select sets include commemorative golden Minifigures celebrating the 20th anniversary of LEGO® Harry Potter. All of the sets hit LEGO® Stores and LEGO.com on June 1, 2021. However, select alternative retailers will also offer exclusive early access. So far, only American retailers feature on the list. No word yet whether or Canadian retailers will also get exclusives. General sale at all retailers begins August 1.

Interestingly, as with previous sections of Hogwarts, these ones are interconnectible. Additionally, the sets in this wave are generally a good value. I like tan bricks and columns, so I might pick up a few just as brick boxes. I am also looking forward to that Hogsmeade set. The buildings have a medieval look that will go well with Diagon Alley and other sets like the Medieval Blacksmith in custom displays. What are your thoughts on the Summer 2021 Harry Potter sets? Love the Hogwarts sets! Interconnectable with sets from the previous Lego HP wave (Clock Tower, Great Hall etc.) too, do you think?
I think you can connect with previous sets too because there are connector pins on the bottom corner of each new set. Hard to say for sure though because the aesthetic of these differs from the recent series of Hogwarts sets.
And she needs a bigger bedroom to store that wishlist in 🙂
