Ninjago City Gardens Coming REALLY Soon!

NOTE: This article was updated after publication when the LEGO® Group released new images and details.

While no official press release is out, I cannot sit on this news any more. I am SO excited! Yesterday, the January 2021 LEGO® catalog arrived in my mailbox. It features a two page spread on the epic new expansion to Ninjago City. The original is one of my all-time favorite sets. Additionally, I own the previous expansion, Ninjago City Docks. Now, Ninjago City Gardens is coming out REALLY soon. When I say soon, I mean this week soon. Additionally, the LEGO® Group posted images on the official site!

Look at all those Minifigures! Additionally, one of them is Golden Sensei Wu. Interestingly, the catalog ad indicates 20 Minifigures. However, the pictures only show 18 and the website advertises 19. Granted, there is a buildable robot and a husky. Those are not minifigs in my book though. Consequently, I am hoping some of the advertised surprises include mystery minifigs. Diagon Alley had one, so it is not beyond the realm of possibility.

This build looks incredible. It also has more pieces than the original set. I cannot wait to get my hands on this. What are your thoughts? Feel free to comment below or reach out on social media.

Until next time,

-Tom
