Minifigure Monday is a weekly celebration of LEGO® characters through art. This week, we contemplate taking the time to smell the roses. This poem was inspired by the rose bushes in the Chinese New Year Temple Fair set that I recently built. With everything going on in the world, and rush of day-to-day life, it is important to take the time to stop, reflect, and enjoy life’s simpler pleasures. Smell the Roses
An original Minifigure inspired poem from True North Bricks.
Sometimes it’s a lot to bear,
Always running here and there.
Life, it moves so rapidly,
You should not live vapidly.
Don’t know what tomorrow brings,
So find joy in simple things.
Remember that we all have noses,
So that we can smell the roses.
