LEGO® Group Holiday Gift!

Every year, employees of our favorite brand get a LEGO® Group Holiday gift. This year, the same gift was sent to ambassadors on the LEGO® Ambassador Network (LAN). As this is my first Christmas as a Recognized LEGO® Fan Media Ambassador, I fortunately get a copy. The package arrived by courier this weekend, and I am beside myself with joy. Therefore, I thought I would share my little haul here today.

LEGO® Group Holiday Gift, the Christmas X-Wing (4002019)

This year, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of LEGO® Star Wars, the Holiday gift is a Christmas X-Wing (4002019). It includes three characters: a Santa-esque Yuletide Squadron Pilot, Christmas Yoda, and R2-D2. Additionally, the kit contains 1038 bricks. A set of this size usually retails in the $150 range in Canada, so it really is a generous gift. The limited nature of the set also has prices skyrocketing already on the secondary market. Both Bricklink and eBay have re-sellers asking for over $300 CAD. Personally, I can’t wait to build mine!

So, this is a really heartfelt thanks to the LEGO® Group and the AFOL Engagement Team over at the LEGO® Ambassador Network. This is an awesome start to the Holidays for me. Waiting for this package to arrive reminded me of waiting for Christmas as a little kid. That feeling was really priceless, and this gift is beyond generous.

Sincerely,

-Tom
