At the Henhouse Gate

Minifigure Monday is a weekly celebration of LEGO® Minifigures. This week, we delve into the world of poetry and photography to look at misplaced trust and the realization of another’s true nature. “At the Henhouse Gate” was inspired by the Fox Costume Girl Minifigure from series 19. At the Henhouse Gate

An original Minifigure inspired poem from True North Bricks

There was something quite amiss,
I could not make sense of this.

I left you standing at the pens,
Just to look after all the hens.

At first it happened to the eggs,
It seemed as if they all grew legs.

Then after there was much ado,
As one by one the hens left too!

I pondered and I scratched my head,
‘Cause you had been there in my stead.

I realized a bit too late,
A fox was at the henhouse gate.

At the henhouse gate
Fox costume girl from Minifigures Series 19.
