Vintage Car Design Contest

LEGO® Ideas recently announced a new vintage car design contest. Until November 19, you can submit your original design for a classic car. Imagine something that could cruise past the Creator Expert modular buildings. While there are some amazing prizes, the coolest part of this contest is the winning design becomes an actual set. Your design could be the next LEGO® gift with purchase!

In addition to the grand prize shown above, five runners-up also get a prize. Said prize consists of a tote bag, Downtown Diner set, and Space Rocket Ride set. I want to win the grand prize just for the 2018 Bricktober Minifigure packs. Throw in on top of that all the other sets, and the bragging rights to having created an actual LEGO® set!

There are some specifications to adhere to when entering this contest. Mainly, your design must not exceed 18 studs in length, 6 studs in width, and 10 studs in height. Additionally, it cannot contain any intellectual property rights owned by third parties (such as car manufacturers), and can only contain original, unaltered LEGO® brand elements.

For the full rules and regulations, click here to visit the official contest site.

Are you thinking of making an entry? What will you design? Sound off in the comments below. Are you interested in more LEGO® related news? Click here to see what’s up.

Until next time,
