Minifigure Monday is a weekly celebration of LEGO® characters through art. What is more, once a month I take a pop-culture image and recreate it using LEGO® figurines. It was my New Year’s resolution for True North Bricks to create one poster every month throughout 2019. This month, I present Minifigure Monday LEGO-fied: Batwoman.

Though September is pretty much over, posting on the last day of the month still counts! Additionally, the last-minute nature of this month’s post was actually planned. I wanted to time it closely with a new series hitting the airwaves at the end of the week. This coming Sunday, the CW will pilot the new Batwoman show. I am a big fan of the character, and I love the LEGO® Minifigure.

I have been longing to do a LEGO-fied Batwoman post for a while now. My original intent had been to do a comic book cover. However, with the new series coming out, I decided to take one of the advertisements for the show and transform it. The Batwoman Minifigure seen above comes from the Brother Eye Takedown set (76111), which is nearing retirement as I write this. You can also get her in the larger Batcave Clayface Invasion set (76122), and as a key chain.

I hope you enjoyed this month’s Minifigure Monday LEGO-fied: Batwoman project. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. I would love to chat about this project, the sets mentioned, or even the show! Also, if there’s a LEGO-fied project you want to see, let me know. If I have the pieces, I might be able to make it happen!
Until next time,
-Tom
