With Halloween fast approaching, I decided to dig out the characters from Minifigures Series 14 for some photo shoots. One of my favorites from the set was the Tiger Woman. I have always had a love for big cats, and tigers in particular. When I was in high school, it was actually my dream to study wild tigers. Which brings me to a little story that goes hand in hand with my LEGO photo and review today.

Back in 1998, it was the Year of the Tiger. I was in my senior year at high school. I had spent my summer working to earn my way to Japan to take part in a martial arts tournament, and then spend two weeks touring the country. It was right around Halloween that I was there. In fact, I spent October 31 wandering around Tokyo. I found the White Tiger statue seen in my picture in a shop during that excursion. It just spoke to me and my love for tigers. I brought it back carefully in my carry-on, and it has been on my shelf for the last 18 years. Time sure does fly.
As I mentioned before, Tiger Woman was one of my favorites from Series 14. She had a unique hairpiece at the time (one she now shares with 1960s Catwoman). She has a tiger print pattern on both the front and back of her torso, as well as on the sides of her legs. She came with a tail and a whip. I give her a 9/10, taking away only one mark for the lack of a double-sided face.
