Attention all Canadian LEGO® builders! The Level It Up 2024 LEGO® building contest is here. Level It Up is a registered non-profit organization working from Manitoba. Their goal is to increase the employment of people identifying as being on the autism spectrum in all STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) disciplines. The 2024 LEGO® building contest is a fundraiser towards that end open to all Canadians over the age of 18 (though parents can enter for their kids). Up for grabs are five LEGO® gift certificates worth $500 CAD each. All you have to do is submit photos of an original LEGO® build in one of the following categories:

  • Animals, people, and plants
  • Structures
  • Vehicles
  • Communities and stories
  • Creative project

There is a $10 CAD fee to submit a build, but it goes to a worthy cause. The submission period runs from March 15 – 31, 2024 and you can only enter once for the $10 fee. However, paying again will allow you to enter again. One winner will be selected from each of the above categories based on the number of supporting votes received from the public, so encourage your friends and family to vote! Voting is free, but you are encouraged to donate to Level It Up. You can read the full list of rules and regulations on the official Level It Up 2024 LEGO® building contest website. Level It Up will announce the winners on April 2, 2024, which happens to be World Autism Awareness Day. What will you build?

Until next time,
