Images featuring the front and back of a new 2024 Harry Potter Sorting hat have surfaced online. The set is rumoured for March 2024, but has not been officially revealed by the LEGO® Group as I write this. However, a March release makes sense since the LEGO® Group has already revealed a number of other Harry Potter sets coming out at that time. There is no Canadian price information available for the Harry Potter sorting hat, but apparently it will include a sound brick which allows the hat to speak. Additionally, the box art suggest the hat has some sort of mechanical features which allow it to move. I’ve included the information we do know about the set below. Also, since we’re on the topic of Harry Potter, let’s take a look at all the sets coming out in March.

Most of this March 2024 wave appears to be rehashes of older sets. I don’t remember ever getting a specific Owlery set before though. And, of course, the Harry Potter Sorting Hat is new. I don’t really collect Harry Potter sets, so I’ll probably pass on these. However, the Sorting Hat does include some interesting pieces. I like all the large curved elements… so, maybe if the price ends up being decent and I find a good sale, I’ll pick it up as a parts box. We’ll see. What do you think about the March 2024 Harry Potter sets? Let me know in the comments or reach out on social media.
Until next time,
-Tom
