While scouring online forums for information about upcoming sets, I came across an interesting leak. Someone posted images of the upcoming LEGO® Art Macaw Parrots set on Reddit. The photos show the front and back of the box, seemingly at someone’s house. That suggests either an early copy, or perhaps someone already found the set in store somewhere. In any case, I have cleaned up the images as best I could to give you an idea of what the set entails.

Presently, I don’t know how much this will cost in Canada. However, it has fewer bricks than the Modern Art set, which costs $65 CAD. Therefore, we can hope the price point will be lower than that. Rumours also speculate this set will come out on January 1, 2024, joining the long list of officially confirmed sets, as well as the rumoured Ideas Polaroid Camera. What intrigues me most about this Art announcement is the small text on the front of the box. Right under the title, it reads “The Fauna Collection”. Given LEGO® Art has yet to release any other animal pieces, this suggests a new direction for the theme. I probably will not buy the Macaw Parrots, but I’m intrigued to see what else comes from this new collection. What do you think of the LEGO® Art Macaw Parrots?
