Get ready to celebrate 100 Years of Disney with the LEGO®️ Group. Today marks the start of a new campaign between the Houses of Mouse and Brick. With a century of memories, characters and films to draw on, there’s plenty of possibilities. The fun starts with the official reveal of a number of sets including Duplo®️, system and a new Collectible Minifigure Series. After some initial early reveals, we now have official details and images. Minifigure collectors will be especially thrilled to see what’s coming. In conjunction with new products, there’s a new video campaign beginning called #SharetheWonder. From the Official Press Release:
Today, the LEGO Group is kicking off its celebration of Disney’s 100 anniversary by recreating some of the most beloved Disney movie moments in iconic LEGO® brick form as part of its new #SharetheWonder video series. The three-part series will feature scenes from timeless Disney and Pixar movies, and will encourage fans to share their own favorite LEGO built Disney moments on social media using #SharetheWonder. Watch the teaser here. The #SharetheWonder series will debut throughout the next month on LEGO.com, LEGO social channels and Disney’s YouTube.

While the 4+ line isn’t great for value, you will get an impressive 6 minifigures here. Each section of the train represents a different film and character. And it’s great to see new characters like Moana join the minifigure roster. The other characters are new prints, but they look pretty great.

Many fans have been waiting for this to become a set. Up is such an awesome movie and the designers have done a pretty nice job with this. The house is colourful and fun but it’s all about the minifigures! How adorable is Doug the dog?? Carl and Russell are excellent as well. I love that a roller skate element is used for the tennis balls on Carl’s cane. Nice attention to detail as always. Hopefully we get more Pixar sets for the Disney100.
3in1 MAGICAL CASTLE

The CMF series are always a big highlight. And in this case it will be third for the Disney theme – the most of any IP. And we’re back to up to 18 figures from the more recent 12. The majority of the characters are all new and as expected, they look fantastic. Collectors will be happy to see that blind bags are still in play here which will make getting a full set easier.
