It’s time to play the music. It’s time to light the lights. The LEGO® Group just announced that Muppets Minifigures are coming soon! While rumors circulated for several weeks now, and the LEGO® Group themselves teased the series, today we finally get clear images of the upcoming characters. The series consists of 12 Minifigures, each retailing for $4.99 in Canada. They join other sets already announced for May 1, 2022.

- The Swedish Chef
- Dr. Bunsen Honeydew
- Beaker
- Waldorf
- Statler
- Janice
- Gonzo
- Kermit the Frog
- Miss Piggy
- Fozzie Bear
- Animal
I grew up watching the Muppet Show and the Muppet Babies animated series. Additionally, it was always exciting when the Muppets appeared in Happy Meals at McDonalds. In fact, these Minifigures bring back memories of the small toys from McDonalds. I have a lot of fond memories with the Muppets. I imagine many other AFOLs have similar childhood memories.
