March 2022 Technic Sets Revealed

The March 2022 Technic sets are on the way from The LEGO® Group. Releasing on March 1st are four new vehicles. Of the four, two are listed on the Canadian LEGO® website in the Technic section. The other two, for whatever reason must be searched by set number. So if you are curious to see for yourself, just plug in the numbers.

The Tractor and Telehandler are nice, smaller sets with good detailing. I don’t know much about John Deere, but I do recognize those colours instantly. The largest, The Transformation Vehicle, also has powered-up functionality and you can steer the completed set with the CONTROL+ App. It’s also a 2-in-1 type design which can flip upside-down for a new colour look. She also comes with some sweet shocks for that off-road experience. The downside however is the added cost of the power function piece, it really drives the cost-per-brick WELL over the average. Not ideal, but at least you’re getting a lot of play value from it. Overall it’s a fun selection of sets. Let’s take a look.

Technically Sound

I don’t collect the Technic sets, but I am usually pretty impressed with the designs. From this batch I am really digging the chainsaw and logs that come with the All-Terrain Vehicle. How fun are those?? The technicality of this line has always impressed me too. The builds are so intricate and not in any way logical to my system-focused brain. So all the kudos to that design team. But what do you all think? Are you a big fan of the Technic line? Do you have a favourite set? Do any of the existing technic sets really stand out to you? Please drop us a line and let us know. And as always, keep on brickin’. 🧱
