2022 Brickheadz Revealed

The Brickheadz theme continues in 2022 with 4 new sets, representing a little bit for everyone. Releasing on January 1st are builds for Star Wars, Chinese New Year and Pets. The big excitement for collectors is the 150th Brickheadz set which is none other than my fave Jedi, Ahsoka Tano. In late 2020 fans could vote from 4 themes to choose one for the 150th release. Star Wars easily beat out Jaws, Lilo & Stitch and Minecraft for the win. The choice of Ahsoka is a no-brainer and the final design looks fantastic. The remaining 2022 Brickheadz include 2 new dog builds – a St. Bernard and a French Bulldog. And lastly the Lion Dance Guy which is a traditional performance costume for Chinese New Year. The doggos are as cute as ever and the Lion Dance Guy has some impressive detailing. Read on for the usual details.

The initial 2022 Brickheadz releases look like a lot of fun. The theme has really expanded over the years with some great IPs and original designs. They are also in that perfect price point and size for easy and fun gifts – especially for younger builders. I have a few displayed here and there and they always look adorable on a shelf. I am definitely getting the Ahsoka Tano, and hopefully this means Darth Maul isn’t far behind.

What do you guys think? Are you big fans of the Brickheadz line? Are there any new sub-themes that you are eager to see? Did you choose Star Wars in last year’s fan vote? As always, please comment below and let us know. Until then, keep on brickin’.🧱
