DISNEY’S ENCANTO SETS REVEALED

The LEGO® Group has revealed 3 all new sets based on Disney’s Encanto, the studio’s latest animated feature. Encanto is the story of Mirabel Madrigal, a young Colombian girl who has to face the frustration of being the only member of her family without magical powers. In the film she must go on a journey to save her family and their house, when their magic is in danger of disappearing. The film will release on November 24th in North America, with the sets releasing shortly thereafter on December 1st. Check out the film November 24th

I can’t remember the last time a movie and it’s corresponding sets were released this close together. Is this a new record? In any case, it’s a very cute selection of sets. They’re definitely targeting a younger audience with lots of great colourful parts and characters. I quite like the Madrigal home with it’s very distinctive architecture – definitely a Spanish/Latin feel. The books are very cute and fit in nicely with other similar sets to make a nice shelf for a young collector. The trailer for the film looks very fun and I’m always up for a good animated flick. Hopefully this one delivers the magic.

What do you guys think? Are you eager for the film? Are you interested in the sets? Drop a comment below or on the social channels and let us know. And as always, keep on brickin’.
