Footprints
(An original LEGO inspired poem from True North Bricks)

A red sunrise over a grassy glade,
A morning haze in the forest ether.
The light arrives to chase away the shade,
The day has dawned, and I rise to greet her.
Already the heat of the Sun do I feel,
As the calls of night vanish with the dark.
A moment I take, and down do I kneel,
Only to find in the dirt a strange mark.
Yesterday night, on this road did I walk,
As violet sky was fading to black.
Unaware that close by, another did stalk,
I made my way home on this very track.
An uneasy shiver travels up my spine,
As I now see tiger prints over mine.

My inspiration for this poem was the new LEGO tiger from the Jungle Air Drop Helicopter set, and my dream of seeing wild tigers.
