Out & About with Minifigures – Keith Urban Live in Montreal

On Saturday, August 12, 2017, Keith Urban played his first concert in Montreal. Being a fan, I bought my tickets for the show months ago. Mr. Urban did not disappoint. Not only did he perform a set list teeming with hits, he also showed himself to be quite the entertainer. I was really impressed with his crowd interaction, from pulling a bachelorette party onto stage and calling the bride’s fiancé (who hung up), to autographing a guitar and giving it away to a crowd member.

Keith Urban live in Montreal… sadly this was the best photo I could get with my phone. No actual cameras were allowed.

My wife and I had a really good time. We are not really party-goers, and we like to sit during shows (yes, we are boring). So, I had carefully selected our seats so that we would be in the front row of the first level of balcony seats, and right on the aisle to boot. It was actually the perfect vantage point for us. There was a pit on the floor right in front of the stage for the more adventurous concert goer.

Tour2017

I have been a Keith Urban fan since the Fuse album. I liked a few of his songs before that, but Fuse really converted me. Last summer, I made a LEGO-fied post involving a LEGO recreation of the Ripcord album cover (click here to see it). To commemorate this concert, I decided to make a LEGO version of the Ripcord tour poster.

I stopped writing down setlists during concerts because someone always posts them online. I guess other people felt the same way, because I have not been able to find the setlist for this show anywhere. As best I can remember, these were the songs Keith Urban played in Montreal. I am not sure if I have remembered them all correctly, or if they are in the right order. If you were there, feel free to correct me in the comments below, and leave your thoughts on the show!
