I like to consider myself a pretty big Batman fan… But, I had to look this character up. I couldn’t believe it when I found out The Eraser was actually a character from the comic books! He was created in the 1960s, and he wore pencil tipped shoes that could release sleeping gas. His eraser helmet was able to rub away any evidence from the scene of a crime. I was even more shocked to find out that he has made comic book appearances as recently as 2009…

Despite the cornball nature of this character, he is a fitting villain for the more light-hearted LEGO Batman universe. I like his inclusion in the Minifigure Series. To give him his special evidence-erasing helmet, this Minifigure does not have standard shaped head. Instead, it is molded to look like the eraser end of typical pencil. He wears a yellow, pinstripe suit with printing on the front and back of the torso, as well as on the front and sides of the legs. His arms are also patterned in the same way. As an accessory, The Eraser has a tile printed to look like a spiral notepad with the words “To Erase” written on it. This is a fun little Minifig, and I give him 8/10.
Until next time,
