I am a pretty big Bon Jovi fan, I have seen them five times in concert. Naturally, I had to include a reference to them in my LEGO-fied A-to-Z Challenge. The last time I saw a Bon Jovi show was on Valentine’s Day in 2013. That was just before the release of their album What About Now. They played several new songs from the album, including “That’s What The Water Made Me”, which ended up being my favorite song from the album, and the namesake for today’s post.
The first Bon Jovi song that I remember liking was “Bed of Roses” in 1992, then “Something for the Pain” in 1995. But, it wasn’t until 2000’s Crush, which featured “It’s My Life”, that Bon Jovi really became one of my favorite bands. I saw them live for the first time on the Crush tour. Bon Jovi songs form the soundtrack of many of my memories.
This particular LEGO-fied post marks a bit of a change from my previous entries. I really focused on recreating my previous posts with Minifigure photography. This time, I still used LEGO elements, but I drew them all. I have included photos of the elements that I drew in this post. See if you can find them all in the final product!

Okay, so I was a HUGE Bon Jovi fanatic. I first saw them in concert during their 1986 (or was it 87?) Slippery When Wet tour (that remains my favorite album of theirs). But I saw them again during the Living on a Prayer tour when they played with Cinderella. I still think they are awesome. Jon Bon Jovi is awesome. Long live Bon Jovi!
Bon Jovi is awesome, and they recently were inducted into the rock ‘n roll Hall of Fame! It was about time if you ask me.
