Series 9 Forest Maiden (Minifigure Monday)

A forgotten Forest Maiden emerges from a bulk lot, carrying me back to a time before I returned to the brick—and reminding me how even small discoveries can rekindle old magic.

True North Bricks

This week, I’m spotlighting the Forest Maiden. This character was released in 2013 as part of CMF Series 9. I wasn’t collecting yet—in fact, I was still in my dark ages. I didn’t emerge until about a year later, and even then, collectible minifigures weren’t yet on my radar. This particular Forest Maiden crossed my path in a bulk lot I purchased not too long ago.

With her bow, arrow, and shield, she’s ready to defend her woodland realm—but there’s a quiet, elven elegance to her that makes her feel almost magical. Her hair, woven with leather or ribbon, adds to that ethereal, forest-dwelling vibe, even without the classic elven ears.

I’ve added one of these Forest Maidens to my store this week – perhaps she’ll bring a little of that same calm strength and quiet wonder to someone else’s collection.
