Recently, I announced my new status as Recognized LEGO® Fan Media (click here to check that out), and how that meant I would be able to bring more exciting news to you. Well, true to my word, I recently received a press release from the LEGO® Ambassador Network detailing their latest release: set #75810 – The Upside Down. This set is based on the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things.
Though I have heard good things about the show, I have to admit, I have never watched the series. But, I have to say that this set looks pretty cool. The first thing that really sticks out is that the whole thing can be flipped upside down and displayed in what can only be described as “normal” mode, or “dilapidated” mode. I am also intrigued by all of the new Minifigure parts included in the kit. Having not seen the kit in person yet, I won’t go into too much more detail, and I will let the official product images speak for themselves.
The official press release states that The Upside Down will be released on May 15, 2019, however this is only for VIP card holders. A quick search of the Canadian Shop-at-Home reveals that most might have to wait a little long here in the True North Strong and Free. In terms of specifics, Canadian LEGO® fans can expect the following:

I’ve never seen the show, but this looks like a really fun build. There are plenty of interesting parts in there too. But my budget is limited, so this is going on my maybe-list. The new space program sets and the next wave of Harry Potter sets have higher priority for me.
