Canadian LEGO® Deals (Aug. 3, 2018)

There are still some great deals to be had this week as stores liquidate old stock to make way for the new sets that are starting to arrive. Remember to check your local stores because their stock is sometimes different from what is shown online (which is what I use mostly for this list).

Most (though not all) sets are on sale. However, the savings are pretty meager at only 10%. Interestingly, the sale includes large Creator sets, so this might be a rare chance to get at least a small discount (though it amounts to pretty much the same thing as waiting for double VIP points…)

THE LEGO® STORE
All month long, you can get double VIP points on the Creator Sunshine Surfer Van and Cruising Adventures. From August 1st to the 14th, you can get you hands on the first sustainably produced LEGO® elements. The plastic was made in an ecologically friendly way, using plant based materials. You get a box of LEGO® plants (appropriate) with purchases over $35. Unikitty theme purchases over $25 will get you a free Unikitty set as well from August 1st to the 12th. The “Christmas in July” sales appear to still be going on, but obviously many sets have been sold out. RENAUD-BRAY
This is a book store in Quebec. They have been having their annual summer sale in store, and it includes several LEGO® sets. Initially, the savings were 20-30% off. However, I visited again this week, and I got Joker’s Notorious Lowrider for 60% off. There were other sets being similarly discounted. They were on tables marked as 50% off, but it was 50% off of the already discounted sale price.

TOYS R US
This week, you can get 20% off on all regularly priced Juniors sets. The flyer advertises these savings with pictures of the Jurassic World Juniors kits, so this is a decent way to get discounted dinosaurs. Additionally, the following are on sale:
